46 Pick Up Seat

OK, looking at the seat that I got when I bought the truck and I'm not sure if this is the right seat for a pick-up. Can anyone shead some light?

    Sure not like the seat that came in my 47 pickup.

    I was afraid of that. As i was pulling away some of the material off the back I found in the sheet metal back a cut out for an ashtray and places for hand straps. The seat tracks look different and do not match the wood that you let me look at Bill. Wondering if it would still work in the pick-up.
