short little step-down story

My Grandfather's brother (my great uncle I guess) told me a short story from the step-down era. He said where he had lived there was a hill called "brass-balls hill" (I'm sure that's not the geographic designation) and if you got up enough speed coming up over the top of it you'd get your car airborne nicely. The police used to park at the top of it and pull over guys attempting that little stunt. He said that he remembered a local Hudson dealer had a step-down demonstrator car though and he used to do the jump at the top of the hill all the time and the police would just waive at him as he flew by. LOL
