David, I'm not a 46-7 step up expert, but I do think there is a difference between the Super and the Commodore models on the rear window. I believe the Commodores had a couple of trim strips on the glass ,while the Supers did not. Don't know if this makes a difference or not. What model Hudson is yours?0

tis' a commodore with the fake trim strips. its been hit couple times with the D.A. when we were sanding & its got a bit of "oh no !" from the sand blast nozzle.0 -
I hate when that happens. Along about that time I start winging body hammers.0

If it is stainless trim I DA sand mine before buffing. It gets you down to good metal. just hit it with super fine paper then buff. as long as you never groved it, it should be ok.
