Pattie and I will be driving our 37 Terraplane. We're in Michigan, about a 150 mile drive. Hope to see you there! Gene.0 -
Count me in. I will probably be driving my 41 Commodore Custom 8. Hudsonly---Cliff Minard.0
-
Gail and I plan to leave the Hudsons at home and spend a couple of weeks in the 23 ft Trail Lite behind the Sienna. We've got reservations at KOA, 3 mi from the doins.
Plan to be wearing a shirt with my 47 Hudson Pickup daily driver on it. A little far for the old splasher with 4.11s. It would make it but I might not. I did drive it to the Saratoga Spa truck show this fall, warts and all, where it got all kinds of attention.0 -
Ill be there, bringing the Italia, the 32 Broughan, and maybe a rolling chassis of a Jet Convertible. Its a whopping 15 mile for me. Ed0
-
It's only a 10 hour trip in my '37 (at a sedate and sensible 60 mph), so you can count me in! And the '08 and '09 Nationals are within Terraplaning distance, too. What a feast -- three Nationals in a row!0

My wife, Lorinda & I, are planning on going! We'll be driving our green 1950 Super 6 Club Coupe. (It was in the Bill Albright Award in Kearny 2006).
Not sure how many days to get there from Arizona. We're leaving early June to go to Reno for the Nat'l Bowling Tornemant then we'll wounder back to Auburn for the 2007 Hudson Nat'l meet, then we'll go to the East coast and down to Florida and then head back to Arizona @ mid to end of Aug.
The Canyon State Chapther will have 5+ couples and hopefully their Hudsons also, we hope for more w/o theirs.
We met some great people at Kearney and are looking to meeting more great people. Hope to meet you all there!

I plan on driving from Connecticut with my wife. I won't be taking my Hudson this year, but I hope to have all three at the 2008 meet in MA. It's only an hour ride.
We should plan on setting up a meeting, so that we can all get to see the faces that go with the names.
Hudsonly,

There is a meeting for on-line participants scheduled...Friday morning, I believe. This has been popular each year...:cool:0 -
This Okie plans on getting to the Nationals on Tuesday evening. But I will have to haul mine it will take too long to drive 1200 plus miles in a 1927 Essex two door coach.
See you there!

I will be at the Nationals also. Thursday to Sunday morning. Looking forward to the meet and seeing old friends and hopefully new ones.
I will not be driving my Hudson though.
Jim Spencer0 -

I plan on going. Mom and Dad will probably go too(i made the hotel reservations this year). it'll be about a 12 hour drive for us. sounds like alot of us will be there..can't wait

I am hoping to come. Depends on if I get a job or not. And as I do not own a vehicle large enough to tow a Hudson, I'll have to leave the Pacemaker home. I am not ready to take her that far yet.
I am still waiting to hear if they (the Security Committee) need people to camp out at the display area at night for security. I'll gladly do it if there is a shower unit nearby (tent camper).0 -
My wife and I will be there in our '49 Gray/Cream sedan. We've been fortunate to make it to the last two Nationals, so this will make it three in a row for our car! It should be an easy short day drive for us from Wisconsin. Hope to see everyone there!0

Hudsonmom and I plan to attend Auburn 2007, but we also belong to a collector club that has it's annual convention the same week in SW Indiana. Right now, we'll probably spend Monday/Tuesday at the HET meet and travel to the convention for the rest of the week. Hopefully the flea market will be set up early and have something for us. Unfortunately, I believe Hudsonkid may miss this one.0

If you put a compass in Auburn and draw a 500-mile circle, you include a lot of Hudnuts...Chicago, Detroit, Kentucky, Ontario, Canada, etc. Should be an outstanding meet...0
-
Pardon my ignorance -- or my Canadian citizenship -- but where in the heck is Auburn? How I would love to go...I am in BC
thanks

Auburn Is In Ind.,just South Of The Mich. Border.0

My uncle and I will be there with our Hornet. I'm psyched!0
-
I hope to be there, I am not sure what I'm going in yet... I am trying to complete my '51 hornet sedan for the national. Right now, I am frantically rubbing the paint out!0

Hello - 7XPacemaker
If you are finishing a restoration - consider entering it for the Albright Award.
It's fun, you get special parking and get your car in the White Triangle.
We had our 1950 green Super 6 in for it last year (2006) and had a great time - didn't win, but thats OK. It was our first Nat'l and waht a great time!!
Good Luck on finishing your car!

I am planning on being there, I've only had my Hudson for a few years now and the Nationals have always been in conflict for me, so this will be my first. I don't know if I am crazy enough to drive the 619 miles in my '29, I know it would do it but I hesitate to put 1238 miles on the clock of a 68,000-mile original all at once. It will probably come, on the trailer behind my F-150. In the 40 some years it has been in the club I don't think it has seen a national meet either. Furthermore, my fiance would probably have no part of riding that far in the '29 in late July. Hope to see you all there.0

1311 miles 18 hours 7 minutes aprox should have went last year to neb just a few hours away maybe 7 or so

Looking for a registration form for the Auburn National Meet that I can print off the internet to fill out and send in so I do not have to cut it out of my WTN. There is always something on the other side I want to keep
And no I do not have a "copier" but I do have a printer. Thanks, Ron 0 -

There is info on the Albright Award in the current issue of WTN (out tomorrow). By all means look into it...if you qualify, it's really worthwhile! :cool:0 -
I'm anxious for it to be held in Great Falls Montana some year then I could go. Car might even make it.0

Walt and Margaret Mordenti will be making this trip with a stop in CT first. Six days and 3,300 miles, coast to coast. Hudson now has 102,000 miles in 8 1/2 years and after this trip it should read 110,000.0
