Horn button removal 50 Super 6?

Hi y'all:



I need to pull the horn button off to fish wires, and it just won't budge. Am I right in presuming that it's the standard 1/4 turn counterclockwise to pop it off, or am I missing something?



The button is in beautiful shape so I've been reluctant to reallly crank on it.

    i had the same thing with the button in my pacemaker wheel. push down with the palm of your hand and turn it that 1/4 turn counterclockwise. i too was reluctant to force it but it takes just that little more than you think. disconnect your battery before you do it too.
