32 Essex Glovebox

Actually this is a glove box for a Pacemaker. Only a 1932 Pacemaker 8. These were used under the dash on the 32's and again in 33 but only on Murray body cars 33. It should be velvet covered on the inside, and the door should flip around with an ashtray in it. Obviously it would have been mounted horizontally under the dash and the hole in the door on yours is for the lock. This is a picture before my boxes were installed so you can see where it went on the 32 and 33 at least.
