I believe you will find it stamped on the right front of the front axle.

Isn't the serial number on a plate on the firewall, engine side, passenger side??

In any event, 1933 serial numbers run:

    K - Standard Six - 364125 to 372899

    KU - Special Six - 5001 to 21495

    KT - Eight - 65001 to 78250

Maybe somewhere on the rear axle, or possibly on the right side of the frame near the back somewhere, if you can get to it.

  • are you saying pass rear of frame?

Try looking on the rear axle housing, passenger side (at least, in the U.S.!) at the top side. You will want to wire-brush the rust off. It is stamped in to the housing. At least that is where Hudson stamped it on later 1930's Hudsons.

If you were asking for photos of 1933's in general, you can go to the Hudson club's website at http://www.hudsonclub.org/ and click on OTHER LINKS, to see a number of pages which contain various Hudson photos. John King's has an extensive collection of Hudsons at car shows, and Alex Burr's has a huge number of original Hudson factory photos (plus more modern photos of club members' cars).
  • Take a look at my avatar. Mine is a Terraplane 8 rumble seat coupe. Your serial # is or should be stamped on the right frame rail, just rear of where the original brake cable went thru. Yours looks to be a short wheelbase 6. Makes a neat highboy
