'51 Front end parts???

Hello All,



Has anyone had any luck finding Stepdown suspension components like ball joints, control arm bushings, etc? All I have sucessfully located so far are tie rod ends and the idler arm pivot bushing.

    There is a good bit of it on ebay from time to time. Also Kanter has some, if not most in one of their kits. No ball joints, the '51's used kingpins and bushings. Walt-LA

    Thanks for the contact info. What wears out on these? Replace everything, or do some parts "stand the test of time"? I am new to Hudsons so I'm not familiar with these front ends. I have heard that these are very good handling cars so I want to refurbish the stock components and install gas shocks rather than saw off the stub and weld on a Nova or Mustang clip.

    Smart Move Dave, King Pins Are A Little Tricky To Find And Bring From 150 To 195 A Pair Bill Albright As Stated There Are No Ball Joints

    Contact Walt Mordenti at mmordenti@aol.com he has 2 NOS upper control arm and one NOS lower control arm. They are NEW OLD STOCK. Fits 1948 to 1954 all model Hudson's except Jet.
