49 Comm Convt Front Seat-HELP!

My upholsterer is about to do my front seat frame on my 49 Com Bro Conv. Some of it was beat and torn, and we are trying to determine if the entire bottom portion of the seat FRAME was covered in vinyl, or if some of it had carpet on it. I rummaged through my collection of "other guys hudson's" and found these pics of a 51. Wondering of this is also right for a 49.



So, can anyone tell me if the seat FRAME was covered entirely in vinyl or if the bottom rear portion was covered in carpet?. Can anyone post or email me a photo of a correct 49 Seat frame so I can get this right?

    Dennis, your upholsterer, Dave, called me today. I told him the rear center section on back of front seat bottom frame had carpet, as did rear side kick pans under quarter windows.
