Expensive Horn Button
Am I the only one who thinks this was a bit much?

Probably not to much, to the buyer. But it is a prime example of why this hobby has gotten beyond the reach of far to many of us.
Would I pay that much for a horn button - not on your life. For one thing I got trouble just paying the rent and the bills every month.
Most I ever paid for anything on ebay was $105 for a 1929-1939 (or thereabouts) National Service Manual - those things are boat anchors. Will I ever get my money back - probably not, but more than a few people have benefited from the Hudson material I got out of it put into Tech Bulletiin form in some cases so that makes it worth the price, at least for me.

No I Don't Think It Is A Bit Much It's 48 49 Only And If Your Restoring A Car To Be Perfect You Need This Item To Do It Right It's In Plain Sight When You Look At The Steering Wheel You Could Skimp On Some Other Stuff But Not This
If You Look At The Bid History There Were 3 Bidders Over $400 And If I Were Restoring A 48 Or 9 Convertible I Would Have Bid Higher Than That If It Was A Part I Truly Needed

Hey, nobody twisted their arms, that's probably what it was worth to him!0

Things are worth what someone will pay for them, whether it's cars or parts.0

It all depends on what level you're restoring your car to. If you don't have a nice one, in say, your convertible, then I guess you might have to consider this. Dennis, I would surely think your car is at the level of an item like this. With the level of the restoration it got, I would think it is a small price to pay for a high visibility item.
I got a dealer gross box of these, I guess I'll have to start bouncing them on eBay.....0 -
They're not making them anymore so...0
