Interesting article in the New York Times.

Since I don't know how to provide the direct link to the article, try Googling "The New York Times online", and then type "Hudsons to Swoon Over" in the search bar.

"51, or Mars --- if you can post a direct link, please help me out and do so.

Thanks,

Silverone, all you have to do is to highlight the location ("URL") of the webpage you want to reference (it's the code that starts "HTTP" in the white box at the top of the screen) by sweeping across it with your cursor while holding the left button down. Now -- with your cursor sitting on the blue "highlight", right-click. When the little box opens up, left-click on COPY in the box.

Then, while you're typing your message in the REPLY box, here, right-click on your mouse and then left-click on PASTE (which appears in the little box that opens).

The "pasted" URL will turn red once your message is posted. Anyone who clicks on it will then instantly be transported to the webpage in question.

It's not a difficult procedure, and worthwhile learning. Even easier, after you've done it once or twice.
  • Thanks Ken, and Jon.

I'll spend a little time trying out your instructions, and hopefully, we'll see some results on the forum soon !

It'll be really nice to not have to struggle with every post that gets a bit more technical than a comment ! :-)

Computers weren't even invented when I was in school, so I'm kinda self-taught, ( which is a scary thought. )
