Is it a Hudson, or a Terraplane?

Does this car belong to you? Is there a front end for it?

I sold a much nicer 1938 coupe 3 months ago on Ebay for $3200...

Did I give it away or is guy dreaming?:)
  • yeah, WAY to much $$$, sorry. I would like one though.

    good rod material...
  • Hell, I'd sell my restored 2-door brougham for not a hell of a lot more than that! The coupe owner is out of his gourd.
  • I didnt want to hurt somebodys feelings but thats what i was thinking, about a $2500 project car. I dont think a complete car with good paint and interior etc. would bring that much but there are people out there.
  • Yes I was thinking $2500 was about top for this project. Take a look at this car it just sold for $8600 on eBay. Its a Brougham but look at condition vs price and you see where this project sits. Its a fully drivable complete car.

  • I took the 36 Picked it up in Seattle last week.( as you can see in my avatar)

It's a nice car just needs some TLC I'm looking to put a wheel cover on the spare if I can ever find one. If the color isn't correct I'll repaint to original.

This is my second Hudson the first was a big 70 series Hudson Eight.

I like this little Terraplane, the engine was rebuilt (supposedly)200 miles ago.

    It runs real strong.

I would have to agree with the rest of you guys, he's asking way too much for the coupe. ironman
  • I sold a 37 Terp. coupe at Auction in 1978 for $75.00 It had a nice rust free complete body with front fenders, Was missing the framr from the cowl forward. always wondered were it is , went to Western Ill.
  • Sorry to upset so many people! The other one I saw online was $20k & is disassembled. This terraplane has the front clip for you asking & is in real good condition. Would like to know just how many cheap ones are out there & not from 1978. Phil
  • I Sold this 1937 Terraplane coupe
