Dan,
I am planning on taking the 50 PaceMaker there and running aginst the
Studebaker guys. This is my old home track as I raced there for over 10
years. It would be nice to see several other Indiana Hudson guys show
up for this but I beleive the state chapter is having a meet in the other
end of the state of Indiana that day.
If you have never been to BeanBlossom DragWay its like stepping 25
years back in time. Its a old track, with a lot of history. I have made many
a good friend there.
As a old timer from there don't take the starting times too literally. They
move at their own pace there. In the years I raced there they NEVER
have EVER started ANYTHING on time! Not once! Usually it takes them
a while to get moving.

Bumping this back to the top. I spoke with Richard Poe (of Studebaker racing fame) last night and he is very excited about this event.
This does conflict with the tail end of the Souers meet, however it would be great to see a caravan from Ft. Wayne to Bean Blossom come cheer on the Paceracer. (and any other Hudsons to take to the 1/8th mile)
Gates open at 9:00 AM. Practice at 11:00, racing at 2:00.
This place is really a time warp.
