Door locks
It seems to me that the stock Hudson door locks can easily be unlocked from the outside via a slim jim, or other means. After all, they have been around since the 40s.
Has anyone setup an alternate locking system for a stepdown. I'm thinking of installing simple solenoids in the doors as a secondary locking system.
Ideas?

I installed power door locks and remote openers from Auto Loc. I kept the original latches but had to use 30lb solonoids to work the latch properly. If you want to just throw a 'dead bolt' to secondary lock a standard solonoid would work fine.. Pretty EZ because lot room inside door...
Keep in mind if someone sees something and wants in they will break a window..If taking car a concern install a hidden 'kill sw' better option.
