I don't know how "rare" a find this is and no price is listed but thought I'd post it out here for anyone interested....

Nice car with power brakes and twin h. A club member here recently purchased a 54 Super Wasp Hollywood with LHD. Restoration is required but it is a rust free car. It also has twin h and power brakes. The colour is a non original burgundy. By looks of things it appears to be a lipstick red with black roof under the burgundy paint.0

I don't know about how rare it is but I think the '54 is the best looking of all the Hollywoods. The roof line was lowered in '54 and it made the proportions seem better. Of course I am prejudiced towards the 54's in general.....

sled potential, hardtopped chops are all the rage and the factory did it for us 53 years ago. another one for the "someday" list.0
-
That actually looks pretty up to date for 1954 styling. I'd drive one.
What's that on the firewall on the left, did they move the master cylinder up there?0 -
Yup thats the Treadlevac master cylinder.0

This car was on eBay several months ago... Glen Johnson is cleaning out inventory... car sold very quickly after posting. Utah car.0

I agree that this is the best looking Hollywood year. If I had tons of cash and space, I'd sure love to have one of these.....and stock to boot!

Did they really lower the roof for '54, or is it just that the squared-off styling of the rest of the body made the roof shape of the Hollywood look more matched to the body lines? I've always thought it was the latter.0 -
I always thought the '54 Coupes, Hollywoods, and convertibles had better lines and proportions than the Sedans or Club sedans and good two and three tone combinations.0
-
Park, You may be right and I should have said it appeared that they lowered the roof line. Either way, the 54 Hollywood is the best looking of all the hardtops.

I agree that roofline looks best on the '54s.0
