HUDSON MEET, South Texas Survivors

We are having our little HUDSON MEET, South Texas Survivors meeting this Saturday the 17th at 11:a.m. in Shiner Texas. Thats just a whoop and a hollar south of Gonzales Texas. Shiner is the home of Shiner Beer. Good Stuff if you like beer. We'll be having lunch and a meeting.

    OK people!
    Here is the Skinny on this Saturdays Hudson meeting.

    We can begin to gather between 10:30 and 11:00 a.m. at our car building in Shiner. It is located at 716 Avenus D which is one block to the right of Highway 90 A. That is, if you are coming from town ( the one traffic light.) Coming from that direction, cross the railroad track, turn right, go one block, turn left on Ave D. We are on the left, second building., across from the newspaper. (Shiner Gazette). Coming from the direction of Gonzales, turn left off 90A on Ninth Street, go one block turn right, go 1 1/2 blocks, our building will be on the right. See you on the 17th. Oh yes, we will be eating at Werner's, dutch treat.

    Don't be shy, come on down!

    Wished this get together would have been published a little earlier, as I would like to make it. (used to hit Gonzales every Sunday Am years ago flying R/C), But especially to meet you and bring a trim peice for your perusal from my 54 Hornet. I have your email and address via Russel Chilton. We'll get together down the road as I have a couple of more peices that need tender loving care.

    Send me an email with contact information. I won't be attending but will be in south Texas end of the month and want to come by and meet you and see you Hudson. Will try to visit with Russell and Dave too. All depends on timing. Wife and I are taking our "SPRING BREAK" Fredricksburg and then the coast for a week. Hope to see you then

    Ken: Stop by anytime, Im usually here working on the Hud, or running errands. It's easy to get to. Just google me on the map. Just finished installing the crossover harness, and now a big long package from Victor Z.

    Thats where the (are we having any fun yet?), begins....

    I guess you must be referring to the nine bucks+ a gallon gas is here in Germany, given recent increases and the grim exchange rate between the dollar and the euro. Two years ago I visited with some German guys who were crusing around in a beatutifully restored/maintained Buick century two door hardtop. 322 nailhead--big bucks for gas, but they were having a great time.



    Beer is even more per gallon, but at least I get fairly high mileage frm that fuel. Enjoy Shiner, and sorry I am missing you folks.
