    Interesting. This used to belong to Jim Fritts of Florida, and before him it was owned for years & years by Paul Simms of New Jersey. Back when Paul owned it we all just sort of took it for granted...

    I guess the restored one they are alluding to in Ind. is the one Eldon created. He also has the famed "Death Valley" station wagon in "as found" condition.

    Perry Spring has, as I recall, a '41 he got out of a junk yard in Tucson.

    I don't know who has the '37 Terra. one now but it's a great restoration too as is Hedley's '39.

    The '37 is owned, I believe, by a fellow in Ohio (after being owned by a number of people since Fred Nielsen had it restored in the mid-70's). I don't recall the present owner's name but at least he is "known" by some in the club. For the longest time the car was incognito.



    The '42 at Eldon's museum is actually a re-creation; the old original Death Valley car is in his garage in its bedraggled state. That served as a pattern for the "new" one. So in the balance, we have an additional '42!
