factory engine color

hey guys!! well i was wondering if anybody knows the factory engine color for a 1951 hornet 308 engine?... any answers? thanks if anyone knows!!! this is a really great forum to find out this kind of stuff.... thanks again..

Go to Advance Auto Parts; buy Duplicolor 500 spray paint (n-gine, ceramic, 500-degree; COLOR =>Universal Gold).

I agree with 54HSWH. Some time back I used some of this Duplicolor to touch up the (then) original paint on my '51 Hornet block. It was difficult to detect where the two paints met. Good stuff.
