29 Hudson universal joint lube ?

What & how much lube should be used in the universal joint enclosure area ? It has a small plug but not a grease fitting and its been way to long ago to remember what I used long ago. Thanks, Ron

    remove the plug install a grease fitting grease with a good chassie grease and when done put the plugs back in also while your at it grease the rear axel bearings to do this you will need to go to the rearend housing just behind the brake backing plate there is a plug on both sides just a few pumps of the grease gun on the axe bearings as for the ujoints grease till you see new grease coming out the wipe clean
