Problems with removing 47 heater core

Any advice on removing a heater core and vent for a 47 Hudson Super Six coupe? Removed all four bolts from the firewall, all hoses, etc disconnected and it still refuses to budge. Any advice?

To remove the core the inlet and outlet pipes have to be removed. They screw out, use vice grips or a pipe wrench, they have to come out or the core can't be removed.
