37 Terraplane Starters

I'm looking for a starter for a friend's '37 Terraplane. Any leads on working or rebuildable starters would be appreciated. Also, if anyone knows which other years and models would have starters that interchange, that would be greatly appreciated also.

YOu can use any starter from any model '36 -'54. They all have the same mountings and drives, except for auto-transmission models. Some are heavier duty, but that won't be a problem using it on the Terraplane.

If thats the case I might have one in a couple of weeks. I am looking to get a 50 Commodore very soon. Will part it out. Runs and drives. Bad clutch or something is its problem so far. Should be a good starter. Don't know til I get it home. Contact me in a week or two cause I forget alot.
