i dont even know the correct color for my 31 essex, most i have seen were green, but i used the duplicolor engine paint "with ceramic", in new ford grey. it lays down nice and heavy, has a nice shine to it, and other engines ive used it on, it held up pretty good. im sure they have silver.0

The Duplicolor 500 degree engine paint in "Aluminum" (DE 1615) is an excellent match to the original silver ... just the right color, and not too "chromey." Don't put it on too heavily ... you want the graininess of the cast iron to show. If you clean the engine well, then wipe it down with an acid etch, this paint will last a long time, and it touches up well.0
