On the road again!
I used the diagram on Ken Cate's page about the center driveshaft mounts. It cost me roughly $8.00 and a trip to Home Depot for nuts, bolts, & washers and a trip to Advance Auto for shock bushings. Very easy job once I got the car up in the air. Went for a little ride this evening and had smooth shifting and no CLUNKS or BUMPS. Also installed the Optima 6 volt and I'm charging!! Thanks to all who have contributed to my cause, I really appreciate it. I'm sure I'll be posting more questions in the future.
PS: I am loving this car! I also have a '50 DeSoto Coupe I'm hot-rodding....haven't touched it since I got this car,

Great, Tommy T Enjoy your Hudson as much as you can, they can be habit forming though! If you can, Come to Pigeon Forge on the week end of the 26th for the Hudsons in the Heartland XVIII meet. We have a great time and you'll get to meet a lot of Hudson people and see a great bunch of cars from all over. We have had cars from as far away as Texas, Canada, Pennsylvania, Michigan, or as close as 25 miles away. Come and Join us.
The host Motel is the Vacation Lodge,(located at traffic light #7) and unfortunately is full but the Mountain Breeze motel is 1/2 mile north of the Vacation Lodge is handling some of the overflow. However everyone is welcome to use any motel/hotel they want.
For more details search for "Pigeon Forge" It will bring up a better description.
