Dual Cowl sold today for 100k
The 1929 Hudson Super Six Dual Cowl Sports Pheaton that I spoke about last week has sold today for the sum of AUS$100,000. Buyer is unknown at this stage but I hope we will see out the road in the near future.

Brownie - think that one used to belong to Zach Brinkerhoff of Denver & was at the National held in Denver many years ago.0

Steve,
If I had the money and bought the '29, there is no way while I have breath in me would I drive that car around the streets of Sydney, I have enough trouble driving the '42 here.
Story around was that he had originally knocked back 100K U.S as I say just a rumour.0 -
Your rumor is correct about that offer of US100K. The previous owner told me him self about 5 years ago when I met him at Auto Auctions, at the time I booked in his Mustang Mach 1 to be sold on consignment. Bob Lea (the previous owner) was a nice gentlemen and I gave him a lift to Parramatta train station via our home in Guildford to look at our family Hudson AMC collection. At the time Bob sent me some photos of the 29 Dual Cowl along with photos of his mid 30's Supercharged Auburn Pheaton in yellow and a Indian Motorcycle. Both of these I'm not sure if he still owns.0

Steve,
Wasn't Bob Lea still the owner of the '29.?? I believe his son put the car in the Hub a few months ago and there appeared to be a problem with that add.0
