Shocks Going On Well
I started removing the old and installing the new shocks yesterday. The fronts went well. I was able to do them without someone up top to secure the upper nut.
One question.....Should I purchase a second nut for the top (and bottom) to use as a locking nut since the manufacture only set one for each end?

the rubber bushes work as somewhat of a preload on the nut. having said that, one link of my sway bar is double nutted, but not the lower to the A arm. i'm not worried due to the pre load from the bushes0

The washer under the nut might have a nut-shaped indentation as well acting like a lock washer, but the rubber compression will hold it. Hope you put some anti-sieze on those threads.0
