Of course, NOS or re-done wheels are gonna be expensive, no matter what brand of car. But I'd think you could find a halfway decent wheel for a '46-7 without paying too much. Have you been trying the Hudson vendors who regularly advertise in the WTN? If not, try working up a sheet with all your various needs on it, and e-mailing or snail-mailing it to a number of people who sell Hudson parts. Usually the ads in the WTN (or elsewhere) represent only a fraction of what these people have in stock, so you sort of have to ask around...0

Ive a lot of 1946 Huds parts and some 112 parts here in South Australia. Ive advertised them in the 2 Aust Hudson club newsletters and ebay, and have sold nothing. There isnt a lot of demand here in Aust. Pity USA is so far away and expensive to post items. I saw a good 1946 Hud parts car recently in Victoria. It had a big hole in the roof for rabbit shooting.
