Clutch Flushing formula
I did a search for clutch flushing, what I found was a formula of 4 parts tri-chlor-ethane and one part acetone.
I found some Carbo-Sol at True Value that is made by Sunnyside, says it replaces Carbo-Chlor which replaced carbon tetchricloride.
What I need to know is what amounts of each to use. Once Flushed/cleaned, should I flush with kerosene before putting in Hudsonite?
It's been 30+ yrs since I worked on a car with points, etc., I forgot how to do most of this, I am slowly relearning.
How should the clutch pedal be set for proper adjustment?
I have a 50 Pacemaker Deluxe Sedan. 232 CI w/3 speed.
Thanks for the help.

The 4:1 ratio is OK. This isn't rocket science. I would flush with kerosene before filling with clutch fluid to get the solvents out.
Set the clutch pedal to 1 to 1 1/2 inch free play before it starts to operate the clutch.
Get Walt Mordenti's Tech Tip books. He covers all this stuff and more.0
