You might check with Al Saffrahn in AZ. He's got a lot of parts cars, and is a reliable supplier. Phone 520 568-2911.0

It's been five or six years since I've been to Windy Hills Auto Parts (in central Minnesota), but they had a then recently acquired forty at that time.

Don't get too picky. All the chassis parts in the front end from 40 to 47 will fit.0

Kind of figured but wasnt sure! Really I guess the major item would be the steering knuckle that bolts into the front crossmember as well as the bolt that holds it0
-
Some of the bolts rode in a pair of needle bearings, but nobody greased em so they're mostly trashed. I got a new kit from somebody..seems like Randy Maas. Somebody is making kits with oilite sleeve bearings also. Check your WTN0

I checked the 50 front end that I have and yes it has the upper and lower needle bearing sets but on the 40 I dont think it had any bearings.
The cast housing in the cross-member has a 1/2 inch on the top and bottom and the steering knuckle rested in between, my guess is maybe there was a zert fitting and just greased0 -
Yup, my 40 didn't have needle bearings either, but was nice and tight so I greased it up and re-used it.0
