Stumbled upon this Site - I'm sure you could dig up other series years - pretty cool data...I wonder how correct it all is?

That Web Site was an interesting Find and although not an authorian, it appears to be pretty accurate... The Prize Money (Purses) was quite a bit of money in the early Fifties but would never equate to the Purses & contingency awards for todays NASCAR Racers... Thanks for sharing...0

You can even click through on the drivers and it lists other information like career wins, total earnings and miles raced!
Someone spent some time gathering and inputing that data for sure!0 -
I used a table similar to that in one of the New England Chapter newsletters - covered 1951-1955 (according to what I could dig up there were at least two Hudson wins in 1955.)
Would be interesting to find a list of Hudson wins AFTER the 1950's - tho these would be local track, not NASCAR. I know that Hudsons were run for a lot of years on the local Mom and Pop (tracks like Tony Stewarts in Eudora) tracks. And they won consistently. Some tracks went so far as to outlaw unit construction bodies (before EVERYTHING was unit body) just to get the Hudsons off the tracks. So some drivers simply went to Hudson engines in old 30's cars, like Ford coupes.
Another trick was to limit cubic inches to 300 - thus eliminating the big hairy 308's. Hudson racers simply took to the 262's, bored and stroked them out to 290, 295, 299 and went on wining races.
